The short version
The app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to us or to third parties. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no network connection.
1. Data processing in the app
Local storage: Everything you enter (objects, photos, documents, notes for relatives) is stored only locally on your device. On iOS the data lives in the app’s documents folder and is included in your normal device backup, which you control in your system settings.
Sharing only by you: PDF and ZIP exports are created only when you actively trigger them and are handed to recipients of your choice via the system share sheet (e.g. email). The app itself sends nothing.
Permissions: The app only requests camera and photo-library access when you add photos; the photos remain on your device.
Since we do not process any personal data through the app, no processing within the meaning of the GDPR takes place on our side.
2. Data processing on this website
This is a static website without cookies, tracking or analytics.
Hosting: The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, GitHub technically processes your IP address in server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Email contact: If you write to us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.
3. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
